Biography:

I am an international student from Bhutan. As part of my honours thesis, I conducted a Comparative Media Analysis of Portrayals of Sexual offending Cases Between India and the United States. Media plays a significant role in raising public awareness and extending as well as shaping opinions about these crimes. This research aims to examine the different ways that media typically reports sexual crimes in relation to a particular society’s cultural and legal factors.
